The Global Axe-throwing Comission (GAC) is accepting applications to host the 2028 World Double-bit Axe Throwing Championships.  If your organization would like to be considered as the host, please fill out the application form below. The GAC board will review your application and be in touch. 

Before you decide to bid to host the 2028 World Championships, please consider what that means.

• Probably more than 100 throwers, possibly juniors
• Time is an important factor. Are there enough support staff, referees and organizers available? Can you set up enough targets? For the competition and for practice throwing in?
• Do you have enough space?
• In case of bad weather, are there enough shelters available?
• Can you cater for so many competitors and spectators?
• Is there enough accommodation available in the vicinity?
• Is the venue easily reachable?
